If you’re looking to improve your wingfoil skills—or even try it for the very first time—do yourself a favor and book a session with Danilo! I had the chance to spend 13 hours learning with him in Cabarete, and it was an amazing experience. His instructions are super clear, he makes you feel relaxed, and most importantly, he makes it fun! Danilo is not only a skilled instructor but also a true pedagogue who makes you feel safe at all times. Learning with him was a real treat, and I can’t wait to come back for more!
I was taking kite lessons with Danilo last week. Eventhough I have never done kiting before, I made a lot of progress during the first days. That progress was mainly based on Danilo who is a really nice and effective coach and of course the perfect conditions of Cabarete.
Because I started pretty late, I wasn‘t able to take more lessons, but I can say that these lessons started my kite-journey really nicely and I will definitely keep going. Kite lessons by Danilo are a really fun and helpful start into this hobby and I‘d really recommend it!

My wing foil lesson with Danilo was awesome! The wind didn’t arrive on the first day we had booked so we waited around a bit and planned on the following day. The wind arrived and Danilo was very informative and attentive! He explained everything to me before I went out then watched and gave instruction until I was able to go. He then followed me down the beach cause I couldn’t go upwind and when I was done he would wing foil all the way back to the school. Couldn’t have been any better. Highly recommend!
Danilo is a fantastic guy, he taught me very well to Wing foil, after 3 days I was on the board. I can recommend everyone to take lessons from him. I had a lot of fun in cabarete.
If you are ever in cabarete or anywhere in the north coast of DR, and are interested in getting true local knowledge for your time there, wether it’s for any type of watersport or activities to do and whereabouts, danilo is your guy. His expertise and willingness to help is rare to find there these days!! He is a very chill and easygoing person. Highly recommended 🙂

I learned kite surf with Danilo. He is very patient, make you feel safe and explain clearly. Today, I am still kiting and still applying a lot of tips he taught me. You can go there with your eyes shut.
